Enhancing the skills of Integrated Rural Development Project staff in Community engagement

A new training session has kicked off in Bukhara for employees of the United Nations Development Programme and the Joint Projects Implementation Unit as part of the Integrated Rural Development Project.

The training, titled “Joint assessment of community needs,” brings together community mobilization facilitators, engineers, and regional project staff. Its primary goal is to enhance participants’ skills and prepare facilitators to support local community development.

Participants will learn to contribute to community growth by leveraging tools for mobilizing community resources, developing and implementing development plans, monitoring projects, assessing regional conditions, and facilitating discussions with community members in focus groups.

Over four days, participants will not only acquire skills for engaging with communities but also gain knowledge on selecting sustainable projects and analyzing them during the development of community plans.
